Recent trend since last 2 years has seen the introduction of the small netbook like the Asus Eee PC model ,which took the market by storm is a small handy portable labtop which works well with Window OS and it's software like the MS office . The Unit comes with a smaller screen of 10.1 inch but has a lower battery capacity which would only last average 6- 8 hrs

With the Latest trend of Smartphone and the New Introduction of the Apple ipad , the market again start to reconsolidate and a newer Version of The Smartphone type of Notebook has evolved.

On the comestic outlook design , smartbooks will look similar to netbooks. But its internal config and design is powered by ARM processor technology which are found in 90 percent of smart phones, an ARM core will be paired with other technology from the leading mobile phone chipmakers like of Qualcomm , Freescale and Nvidia

All of these newly installed chips, because of their low-powered ARM cores, will have similar battery running hours to those of the smart phones like eg. Google's Nexus One which 8 to 12 hours of endurance with its battery.
