Best Buy has put technology filled vending machines in airports to help the business travelers who forget their must needed electronic chargers. Plus, if you have an urge to buy that iPod Touch you've always wanted, the vending machine carries those too. I walked by three different machines at the Las Vegas Airport. All three machines were about the size of two soda vending machines. With the push of a button I could buy a camera, a pair of headphones, or even a wireless internet card from Virgin Mobile. The machines take cash or credit. After making your selection, and swiping your card, a little robotic arm goes to work by grabbing your chosen product and dropping it down the chute for you to grab it. It is like a giant candy machine with a little higher in price candy.

There are other electronic retailers who have found their way into the airport. I have walked through a Brookstone in the Portland Airport, and the Sacramento Airport has a store where you can pick up a pair of headphones or video game. Best Buy has been the only tech store I have seen with a self service tech store. Any way you look at it, more tech stores are catering to the professional on the go.
