I've got for Mother's Day and I must say that everything should be. I have a computer whiz in the family which adds a personal screen saver software and also in Windows 7 version. I have enough space for all your music movies and photos. I take it almost anywhere. Internet access with my iPhone connected. The touchpad is a bit 'to get (the whole course of the mouse pad) but once you get the hang of it and tweeked a few is great. Screen is clear that the computer is ready and plenty of battery life is good though not as long as some other netbooks with 6 batteries. Now the battery. And 'certainly great but I found it to be a problem. In fact it helps to give something to grab when I start at home and is writing a good angle. If you ever find a minor can I get one and use more travel but not a big deal for me. I am not yet increase memory. I'm thinking Windows 7 awards in the future but I'm glad this model. I bought a wireless mouse and Bluetooth dongle so there will be an opportunity for very little additional cost. The red is beautiful matte finish and not too bright. I think I have this neat little netbook.

Great machine for right purposes.
This machine was purchased to be a 2nd machine in our home, and our traveling companion. The built in webcam and mike are perfect for Skype video communications with friends across the country. The built in wireles antennae and software integated easily into our home wireless network. The HP sync program is an nice asset for syncronizing files and pictures between your main PC and this machine. It is a great machine for e-mail and traveling. We can perform all functions that are important to us on the road. It was easy to set up and get running. It has an abundant amount of disk space. I can see upgrading the temporary copy of MS Office and Norton Protection to permanence in our future. Why red? The color expert likes it!

Great Little Notebook
Very happy with the little mini! After playing around with it for a week or two, I plugged it into a larger monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse and now it doubles as an extra desktop. I had only planned on using the Mini for trips and what not, but I've been quite impressed with it's speed and disk space for use as an extra desktop.
I would like to see an option for more ram - 2gig would have been nice and that will probably be an upgrade I'll make in the future.

Best Mini yet
So far the best netbook in the Mini series. I've owned previous netbooks from the Mini series and this is by far the best. The keyboard and outside designs are much better than the 110 series. The new N450 processor is slightly faster, the camera seems better, and the larger hard drive is definitely a plus. I also like the Wi-Fi N, its worth losing bluetooth over. The only problem I've had is that it seems that when put the volume over 80 percent, the speakers get ugly. Like car speakers with too much bass. But besides that, (by the way at 80 percent its still really loud), this netbook is perfect. I'd suggest it to anyone.

I bought this unit to use for travel. I have a lap top w/ 19 inch screen and full key pad. Its taken some getting used to the smaller size. It fits my jeep and I have been able to adapt so I can comfotably use the computer.

I'm a Mac guy, but...
...Since the iPad hasn't been released yet, I bought one of these to show my design portfolio to clients. And I must say, I'm impressed. Gorgeous, minimal design, bright, beautiful screen, effortless set-up (it connected to my wireless network without a hiccup, unlike an Asus EEE I bought, then returned, a little while back). But best of all, this thing is ZIPPY! Videos load and play super-fast. Great little machine.

Slow start, but strong finish
I must say I was a bit disappointed with my HP mini purchase.
Cons:
1.) Skype installation defaulted to external mic, and it was frustrating to figure out.
Pros:
1.) great keyboard, easy to type.
2.) Easy memory upgrade to 2gb. It made my mini super-fast!
3.) Nice/compact design
I am happy with it now after initial installation hiccups and memory upgrade. It's a good little machine.
