iPad: It's a Love-Hate relationship

What I like about the iPad

I feel a little like Golidlocks in the Apple store.

• First I try the iPod.  "This iPod is too small!" I exclaim.
• So, I sit down at a mac and say in disgust, "This computer is too big to carry around!"
• Finally, I claw my way to an iPad.  "Ahhh, this iPad is just right!" I exclaim happily.

But...Have you actually used an iPad...or watched someone else use one?  Sure, the first few minutes are breath-taking, as you wonder why it has taken until 2010 to produce this marvellous contraption.  30 minutes, and definitely an hour later, though your hands start to cramp as you wiggle to find just the right spot to hold your blessed iPad and not ant to slit your wrists at the same time.

• You have to hold it.  This may seem like a "duh" statement, but it can be tricky to hold the thing you're typing on.
• The screen is exactly where you're holding it, which is usually below your natural line of sight.  Thus, you end up bending your neck and lowering your head to see it, thus engendering the wrath of the ergonomic.
• The typing pad is by touch, which can be good or bad.  Call me old school, but after waiting tables and using poorly calibrated touch screens, I prefer a keyboard that does exactly what I think it's going to do.

iPad Gadgets

Yea for cool ergonomic gadgets to make cool computers more usable.

Having a
mount
or some sort of stand for the iPad helps for longer periods of use.  Plus, it's all the rage to have s mini keyboard, so an 
iPad mini keyboard
is the obvious choice.  In fact, it makes the most sense to 
bundle it
and get a carrying case out of it, too.  I love a good deal.

iPad Bundle:

- it has a flexible arm for any angle or orientation
