The HP Slate is a tablet computer. Tablets computers are basically when an entire computer system is stuffed into a single, easy to use package. That may sound like a laptop, but tablets have one key difference. Instead of having a dual fold design like a laptop where one side is the keyboard and the other a screen, a tablet is only a screen. This screen is special, however, and that is because it recognizes human touch. A tablet computer is basically a screen that has touch capabilities. The only real way to combat the lack of good typing speeds is to inform you that tablets aren't designed to do the making of a document; rather, they are built to present or read things.
