Dell Streak simple Review: enjoy DVD/Video easily with Android phone and tablet

Now that everything online has been integrated so heavily, you pretty much just need to have everything in one device and you're set. With Android, not only will you be able to take a reasonably high-resolution photo on your Android phone, you'll also be able to edit it, and then upload it to Flickr, Facebook, or whatever social network takes your fancy. It is very convenient and simple.

Recently, Dell is set to release the Streak, a device that falls somewhere between a tablet and a smartphone. Dell says the Streak, which ships with a whopping 5-inch touchscreen, "is ideal for experiencing thousands of Android Market widgets, games and applications, all without squinting or compromising portability." But critics have argued that consumers will be turned off by the device's "tweener" status. Let's have a look at main features of android system through Dell Streak.
The Dell Streak is therefore sometimes overlooked, but it most definitely shouldn't be. The 5-inch screen is big enough to make using the tablet as an eReader or web browser completely viable. The 1 GHz Snapdragon processor keeps the tablet chugging along at a pretty impressive speed, more than matching any other high powered offerings on the market today. Meanwhile, the Streak comes in either 16GB or 32GB form and comes bundled with a decent enough set of headphones. As a media player it is pretty much the same as any other Android device available; not quite an iPod but almost there. The screen is bright and crisp enough for video to look good and pictures appear colorful but not overly saturated.
However, the Streak currently runs Android 1.6. It's an irritating error on Dell's part and it means that the tablet lacks some of the speed and UI tweaks that make the now Froyo powered HTC Desire so great. 02 have confirmed that they are testing Android 2.1 on the Streak and that it is expected to be released in September.
