The iPad was absolutely awesome in 2010. Apple sold more than 5 million of these awesome tablets! It had over 300,000 apps in the app store. You could play games, browse the internet, listen to music, watch videos, and more on a 9.7inch HD LED display. There was an entire business created by the iPad with accessories like cases, styluses, docks, speakers, and more. Despite the success of the iPad, there were many people who complained that there was a lot of problems with the iPad. For example, some complaints included that there was no USB slot, no SD slot, no cameras, no HDMI output, no GPS, no Verizon, no multitasking, and no flash. It was hard to complain however due to how sickly awesome the device is. Why is there technology? So that there can be improvements made and the competition wins out. So when we see what the iPad 2 has we will be amazed yet we will still have compaints. Lets look at the best iPad alternatives in 2010:

That was basically all that really came out in 2010. Lots was speculated but these were the only "okay" iPad alternatives. The Galaxy Tab was probably the best one out there and sold the most out of all the alternatives. It has gotten a four out of 5 and higher rating on Amazon with over 40 reviews. It is serviced on Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and T-mobile. You will not be dissapointed in the Galaxy Tab as it is a really nice device with lots of awesome features. Because it is only 7 inches, it does not feel awkward or too big to carry around. I really hope that you want to learn more about these awesome alternatives to the iPad.
